Russell T. "Rusty" Jones, CPA - Managing Partner
Rusty, a Wythe County native, returned home in January of 1990 and started a sole proprietorship public accounting practice that was a predecessor to the current firm. He has been practicing public accounting since graduating from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in Accounting in 1984. Before co-founding this firm in January of 1994, his experience included working in auditing, accounting, tax and consulting for KPMG Peat Marwick, an international big four accounting firm. He specializes in consulting on accounting, tax, financial and technology matters with closely held businesses and individuals. He has extensive experience working with manufacturing, distribution, international, emerging technologies and start up businesses. He is a Certified Consultant on Peachtree Accounting Software. He has designed, implemented, customized and supported businesses on Peachtree, QuickBooks and many other accounting software packages. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was the founding Chairman and is the current Treasurer of the Wythe County Public Schools Foundation for Excellence, Inc., a non-profit organization devoted to the betterment of public education in our community. Jones & Radman, through our pro bono work and direct financial support, is proud to be the largest corporate supporter of the Foundation for Excellence. Rusty resides in Wytheville with his wife Susan and their two sons Charlie and Dylan.

Mary K. Radman, CPA, MBA - Partner Emeritus
Mary has been practicing public accounting since 1989. She graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in math education. She furthered her accounting education at Radford University in 1989. She also has a master's degree in business administration. Prior to co-founding this firm in January of 1994, her experience included working for the Social Security Administration for twelve years. She specializes in consulting on accounting, tax, financial and technology matters with closely held businesses and individuals. She has extensive experience working with estates, trusts, non-profits, and start up businesses. She has designed, implemented, customized and supported businesses on QuickBooks, Peachtree and many other accounting software packages. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Although she has sold her ownership interest in the firm to younger partners, Mary continues to play a vital role in the direction of the firm. She focuses most of her effort during our busy tax season period, but is available for consultation by appointment throughout the year. Mary resides in the Stony Fork area of Wythe County with her husband Rick.

Tara R. Adams, CPA - Tax Services & Administrative Partner
Tara joined the firm in July of 2002. She was promoted to Partner on January 1, 2007. She graduated from Virginia Tech University with a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Accounting in 1996. Prior to joining the firm, she worked extensively in accounting in the health care industry and has worked exclusively in public accounting since 1999. She specializes in consulting on accounting, tax, financial and technology matters with closely held businesses and individuals. She has extensive experience working with emerging technologies and start up businesses. She has designed, implemented, customized and supported businesses on QuickBooks, Peachtree and many other accounting software packages. In addition to her work with clients, Tara is our Partner in charge of internal firm administration. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is an active member of the Wytheville Rotary Club. Tara resides in the Crockett’s Cove area of Wythe County with her husband Jim and son Casey.

Daniel P. Delp, II, CPA - Senior Tax Manager
Dan, a Rural Retreat native, joined the firm as our Senior Tax Manager in January of 2008. Dan was an outstanding student athlete at Rural Retreat High School and continued his education and athletics at Lynchburg College where he played on the basketball team while graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Dan has over 14 years of public accounting experience in our local community. His extensive experience includes working with individuals, corporations, partnerships, and fiduciaries. He has experience in tax return preparation, corporate fixed asset system maintenance, tax consultation, tax planning, financial projections, and attestation services. Because of his extensive tax experience and strong communication skills with clients, Dan is an excellent new addition to our firm. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Dan is a member of and former Treasurer of the Rural Retreat United Methodist Church. He continues to enjoy participating in athletics and volunteers his time helping with local youth recreation programs. Dan, his wife Brooke, son Rex, and newborn daughter Willow live in Rural Retreat.
